The Ghost Lab team is made up of not only the Klinge brothers, but also Katie Burr, Hector Cisneros, Steve Harris, Steve Hock, and Cory Lamey. The testing of theories is often done using one or more pieces of equipment that is associated with paranormal testing.
Each week one or more new theories are put to the test and the results recorded for future reference. In addition to scientific evidence, the brothers put different theories to the test in order to determine whether or not they may be effective in providing proof of paranormal phenomena. Viewers are then able to review the evidence along with the team and make judgements for themselves. The data that is collected is then reviewed in the Ghost Lab, which is actually a mobile command center complete with high-tech gear.
These include tools such as infrared cameras, magnetic field detectors, and audio recording devices. The brothers and the rest of the Ghost Lab team use various tools to either prove or disprove the haunting. This information often plays a role in how the investigation is conducted. Upon arrival, the brothers are given a tour of the location and provided with some background history that may or may not be linked to the reported haunting.
Their journey takes them to sites that are now known as some of the most haunted locations in the United States. Each week on Ghost Lab the Klinge brothers visit new locations that are reported to be haunted. The brothers, Brad and Barry Klinge, use scientific methods to contact spirits and record their results. The show, which is produced by Go Go Luckey Entertainment in conjunction with Paper Route Productions, follows two brothers on their quest for proof of the afterlife.
